Tudor House is one of Australia’s most adventurous primary schools. The School is seeking an experienced, inspiring and enthusiastic Deputy Head of Academics. As part of the Senior Executive team this role has delegated responsibility for the effective leadership and operation of Academics at Tudor House, to bring unity and consistency of purpose across all areas of the campus.

As part of the Senior Executive team this role has delegated responsibility for the effective leadership and operation of Academics at Tudor House, to bring unity and consistency of purpose across all areas of the campus. </p><p><b>ABOUT US </b></p><p>The School offers a Pre-K to Year 6 education for girls and boys with a holistic approach emphasising challenge, adventure and nature-based learning. The School currently has approximately 40 primary-age boarders and 235 day students. Tudor House prepares children for lifelong learning and global citizenship and is an accredited IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme. </p><p>Tudor House is the beautiful regional campus of The King’ School. The role forms part of the Tudor House Campus Executive team as well as The King’s School Extended Executive. </p><p><b>ABOUT YOU </b></p><p>The School values humility, honesty, respect, responsibility, integrity, compassion, excellence, and gratitude. As such, we see the importance of recruiting talent aligned to these values. </p><p>To be successful for this role you will have: </p><p>• A keen spirit of adventure and interest in the outdoors </p><p>• Previous experience in teaching across K-6 year levels </p><p>• An extensive knowledge of the NESA curriculum and IB Primary Years Programme </p><p>• Experience in leading a school through accreditation processes </p><p>• A strong personal presence, poise and natural capacity to collaborate and engage authentically with all members of the team </p><p>• Experience in managing challenging, complex and ambiguous situations effectively and objectively </p><p>• Commitment to ongoing professional development, keeping up to date with changing pedagogy, curriculum, staffing, resourcing and leadership </p><p>• Proven experience as a team player </p><p>• Demonstrated expertise in leading change and developing innovative programs </p><p>• Capacity and willingness to grow and strengthen the School as a Christian community </p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS </b></p><p>• A qualified educator with teaching qualifications and </p><p>• Post-graduate qualifications preferred but not essential </p><p><b>HOW TO APPLY</b><br /></p><p>For more information about this position, please refer to the position description.
