<p>St Charbel’s College is an independent Maronite Catholic Co-Educational K-12 school administered by the Lebanese Maronite Order of Monks. St Charbel&#39;s College promotes a love of learning and the Gospel values of justice, peace, love, compassion, acceptance, generosity and service.</p><p> </p><p>The College is currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and experienced Teacher Librarian, to commence the role as soon as possible. The role is being offered on a 12-month temporary basis, with a view to permanency shortly thereafter.<br /> </p><p>This role will make an important contribution to the continued development of the College’s quality resource-based teaching and learning practices, working closely with other teachers to integrate technology and other resources into student learning practices. <br /> </p><p><strong>Essential Selection Criteria</strong><br /> </p><p>The ideal candidate for this role will:<br /> </p><ul><li>Be a NESA Accredited teacher, with Australian teaching experience<br /> </li><li>Hold relevant qualifications in Teacher Librarianship, with demonstrated experience in a similar role</li><li>Possess the ability to work cooperatively with other teachers to incorporate information resources and technologies seamlessly into student education</li><li>Have a proven ability to provide reference services to students and staff of the College</li><li>Have experience in developing and further enhancing library services</li><li>Have the ability to plan events and activities to encourage student engagement</li><li>Have experience in developing a resource collection based on students’ needs and College priorities</li><li>Have the ability to monitor the resource collection to ensure an effective match been resources and programs, learner needs and curriculum requirements</li><li>Provide effective systems for storage, organisation and circulation of information resource</li><li>Have the ability to facilitate the central recording of all college information resources</li><li>Be able to maintain accurate records of all resources</li><li>Have a willingness to support the College’s Statement of Faith and School Ethos</li><li>Have Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Have effective interpersonal skills and be prepared to work collaboratively as a member of a team</li><li>Hold a current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment  </li></ul>
