<p>Applicants are required to have;</p><ul><li>A strong commitment to Catholic Education &amp; Catholic Identity </li><li>Accreditation to teach RE or a willingness to obtain</li><li>Have the ability to plan for and implement engaging and effective teaching and learning in the classroom environment </li><li>A commitment to knowing how learners learn and how to best target individual needs</li><li>Able to use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning</li><li>Positive, realistic and creative strategies for managing student behaviour and adhering to whole school practices</li><li>The ability to provide a safe and engaging learning environment that will truly make a difference </li><li>A willingness to be an effective member of the St Mary&#39;s professional community, committing to ongoing quality personal and professional learning </li><li>Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching </li><li>An understanding of AITSL standards &amp; the expectations of professional teachers </li><li>A commitment to the VRQA Child Safe Standards &amp; Practices </li></ul>
