St. John’s Regional College is currently seeking dedicated and passionate Guitar and Drums Instrumental Music Tutors to join our team.

<p>St John&#39;s Regional College is a Catholic co-educational College of 600 students, with a proud Lasallian and Presentation heritage. </p><p><b>About the role: </b></p><ul><li>Provide instrumental music tuition for individual students and group lessons from years 7-12 on the Guitar and Drums. </li><li>Conduct various ensembles as determined by the Arts and Engagement Leader. </li><li>Assist at concerts, recitals, and performances. </li><li>Casual employment. </li><li>Commencing as soon as possible. </li></ul><p><b>Our ideal candidate</b><br /></p><p>The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate; </p><ul><li>High level of skill on their instrument. </li><li>Ability to teach secondary school aged students (individually and in groups). </li><li>A commitment to maximising student learning as demonstrated through the delivery of high-quality instrumental music tuition. </li><li>Ability to teach using high-impact teaching strategies. </li><li>Capacity to grow and develop the Instrumental Program through enthusiasm and commitment. </li><li>Capacity to develop sustained and trusting relationships with staff, students, and parents/guardians. </li><li>Willingness to work together with other Instrumental Music Tutors, Classroom Music Teachers, and Arts faculty as part of a cohesive, supportive team. </li><li>Understanding of and commitment to the ethos of Catholic school education. </li><li>Current Working With Children Check. </li></ul><p>Want to know more? </p><p>For a detailed Position Description, please click <a href="https://www.sjrc.vic.edu.au/assets/uploads/2024/04/Instrumental-Music-Position-Description.pdf" rel="nofollow">here</a> </p><p>Applicants send in a Cover letter, curriculum vitae (including qualifications, experience, and the contact details of at least two professional referees). </p><p>Applications close 13 May 2024</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
