Prince of Peace Lutheran College is seeking a Classroom Teacher (Y6) – Year 6 working in a collaborative space with 2 other Year 6 classes. Flexible and collaborative in their approach to teaching and learning.

<p><i>Prince of Peace Lutheran College is a K-12 co-educational, independent, Christian school located at Everton Hills in the north-western suburbs of Brisbane. The College was established by the Prince of Peace Lutheran Congregation in 1984 to provide quality Christian education to the children of the community. </i></p><p><i>Prince of Peace Lutheran College offers classes on two sites from Kindergarten to Year 12 with approximately 720 students enrolled. The Junior Campus (K-6) is located at Rogers Parade West, Everton Park. The Middle &amp; Senior Campus, 1 km away at Henderson Road, Everton Hills was opened in July 2009 and is home to Years 7-12. </i></p><p> </p><p><br /></p><h5><ul><li>This is a contract position, FTE 1.0, Term 3. </li></ul><ul><li>It is essential that applicants have a demonstrated capacity in working in a collaborative space with 2 other classes.  The applicant needs to be flexible and collaborative in their approach to teaching and learning.</li></ul><ul><li>Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed professionals who are enthusiastic, innovative and dedicated, and who are willing to support the Christian ethos of the College and develop as an educator in a team environment. </li></ul></h5><h5><br /></h5><h5>SELECTION CRITERIA</h5><h5><br /></h5><h5> </h5><p><b>1. Demonstrated ability to plan and implement high quality teaching and learning programs</b><br /></p><p>• Demonstrated knowledge of Queensland Curriculum and Syllabus documents </p><p>• Ability to integrate ICTs as cross curricular priorities in the curriculum </p><p><b>4.
