An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our wonderful team at St Peter’s. The successful applicant will be joining a passionate and collaborative Leadership Team which includes the Principal, Deputy Principal, REL, 3 Directors of Learning (Junior, Middle & Senior), and a Prep - 2 SW/LD Leader. This position is an integral role in our school community.

<ol><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Education (Master&#39;s degree in a related field would be advantageous)</li><li>Experience working in a primary school setting in a leadership, classroom or student support role</li><li>Strong understanding of pedagogy and methodologies that underpin student wellbeing and learning diversity practices </li><li>Capacity to collect and interpret data to inform whole-school and classroom teaching practices</li><li>Ability to lead school improvement initiatives utilising sound change management processes </li><li>Understanding of the intervention framework, inclusive practices, diverse learning needs and strategies to support students with disabilities, learning difficulties, or English as a Second Language (ESL)</li><li>Well-developed organisational, planning and coordination skills including the ability to prioritise tasks and handle multiple demands effectively and efficiently</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, staff and the wider community</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide leadership in the area of student wellbeing and diversity</li><li>A commitment to the ethos, values and mission of Catholic education</li></ol><p><b><u>Candidates must have:</u></b></p><ul><li>Relevant teaching qualifications</li><li>VIT registration</li><li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School</li><li>Understanding of compliance requirements of Child Safety standards, policies and legal responsibilities concerning the safety, care and wellbeing of all students.</li></ul>
