<p><b>Location: </b>Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese</p><p dir="ltr">The Wellbeing Directorate offer the CSPD school communities services that provide targeted and individualised support for their students, these include the Wellbeing Behaviour and Specialist Programs Team and The Marist Learning Zone (which is situated in the vibrant community of Mt Druitt), these targeted and individualised support teams are dedicated to empowering students who may be experiencing challenges with their behaviour, within the school context.</p> <p dir="ltr">We cordially invite exceptional educational leaders to apply for the position of Leading Teacher (2 point coordinator) a joint role across the CSPD Behaviour and Specialist Programs Team and Marist Learning Zone (in collaboration with Marist Schools Australia and the Lavalla 200 Community Mt Druitt, Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD).</p> <p dir="ltr">As a Leading Teacher, you will be at the forefront of support schools in meeting the needs of students who are experiencing complex challenges within the learning and community contexts. Your expertise in leading and managing people, exceptional communication skills, and strong leadership abilities will be instrumental in assisting our school communities in supporting the needs of their student. You will work alongside other Leading Teachers, Leading Counsellors and Specialist teachers. You will hold a case load of students/ schools, across your time at MLZ and the Behaviour and Specialist Programs Team.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Lead, Manage, and Inspire: Utilise your exceptional people management skills to lead and collaborate with a diverse team of teachers from various teams. Mentor, communicate, and collaborate effectively to enable professional learning and develop the capability of executing effective learning interventions.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Personalised Learning: Design and implement personalised learning programs to cater to the unique needs of students with learning, developmental, social, and emotional challenges. Collaborate with leaders, teachers, case managers, parents, carers, and external providers to create tailored programs that empower students to achieve their full potential.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Pathway Creation: Lead and coordinate students, in collaboration with families, into different educational pathways, including the mainstream school system and apprenticeships. Provide guidance and support to ensure students are equipped with the necessary skills for successful transition and long-term success. Develop the capacity of colleagues to respond to the diverse needs of students.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Wellbeing and Engagement: Implement programs and strategies responsive to the wellbeing needs of students and increase their engagement. Work systematically with schools, families, staff, and leaders to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of learning initiatives.
