St. Narsai Assyrian Christian College is a co-educational 7- 12 Christian Independent School, located in south-west Sydney area. The school has brand new and state of the art facilities and caters for around 670 students. Students, parents, and staff share a sense of faith, community, respect, and service. Students are well supported to achieve excellent academic outcomes. The College seeks to appoint an experienced and qualified TAS Teacher. This is a fixed term position covering a member of staff on parental leave, with immediate start until the end of Term 4, 2018. **Position Requirements:** * Appropriately qualified to teach Stage 4 Technology (Mandatory) and Stage 5 Food Technology * Ability to work as part of a team member * Sound and contemporary knowledge in catering for a diverse range of learners in the classroom through varied learning opportunities and sound pedagogical principles. * Excellent, contemporary understanding and application of current curriculum. * Skills in integrating technology to facilitate learning * Knowledge of recent developments in the theory and practice of senior secondary pedagogy * An understanding of and commitment to the School's Christian framework, values and ethos **Essential Requirements:** * NESA Accreditation to teach * Working with Children Check Interested applicants, as part of their written application, must include the following, and should be forwarded to Janet Jammo (HR Manager) at janetm@shaps.nsw.edu.au: 1.
