<p><strong>Reception Teacher - 12 Month Contract (with the possibility of permanency for the right applicant)</strong></p><p>2019 will be a historic year for Redeemer Lutheran School as we transition from double to triple streaming at Reception.  In preparation for triple streaming (Reception only) an exciting learning environment has been carefully created based on best practice in teaching and learning in an IB PYP context.  The Reception learning environment at Redeemer will consist of:</p><ol><li>Class sizes capped at 19 students</li><li>Large, agile, state of the art learning spaces</li><li>Exceptional in-class support provided by talented and qualified Lutheran Support Officers (LSOs). </li></ol> <p>An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join the Redeemer staff team as a Reception Teacher, commencing in Term 1, 2019.</p> <p>The successful applicant will be an exceptional team member; have proven experience at fostering excellent relationships with children; and have a passion for teaching and learning. </p> <p>As we are an authorised IB world school, previous experience in a Lutheran School and knowledge of the IB PYP would be considered an advantage. </p> <p>The successful applicant will also preferably be a practising Christian who will uphold the ethos of a Lutheran School. </p> <p>Interested parties are encouraged to contact the School Secretary, Leanne Pfitzner (<a href="mailto:lpfitzner&#64;redeemer.sa.edu.au" rel="nofollow">lpfitzner&#64;redeemer.sa.edu.au</a>), to obtain a job description. </p>
