<p>St John&#39;s Catholic College Darwin is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Secondary Mathematics Teacher. A Position of Responsibility, Head of Faculty: STEM, may be offered to the successful applicant.</p><p><b>Essential Criteria: </b></p><p>*Commitment to contribute to the Vision, Catholic Ethos and Strategic Plan of the College; </p><p>*Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of the Northern Territory; </p><p>*Current Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card); </p><p>*Qualifications and/or experience in delivering engaging Mathematics programs: Years 7 - 10 (Australian Curriculum) and SACE Stage 1 and 2 (Methods / General / Essential).</p><p><b>Highly Desired Criteria: </b></p><p>*Capacity to teach Stage 2 Specialist Mathematics (https://www.sace.sa.edu.au/web/specialist-mathematics/overview).</p><p>*Capacity to lead, develop and mange a team of teachers across the STEM Faculty.</p><p>*Capacity to the lead the development of curriculum and pedagogy across the STEM Faculty. </p><p>*Capacity to support and contribute to the overall development of Teaching and Learning at the College as an active member of the Academic Care Team. </p><p><b>St John&#39;s Catholic College is committed to a Child Safe school environment and has extensive recruitment and screening processes in place.</b></p>
