The teacher at St John’s Lutheran Primary School supports the mission and ministry of the School as they competently teaches and pastorally cares for students. It is expected that applicants have an active faith and are able to demonstrate a high degree of competency and skill in teaching in a 21st Century classroom environment. The classroom teacher is responsible for functional areas, including, but not limited to: • Planning, teaching, assessing and reporting the Australian Curriculum • High level pastoral care and support of students • Contribution to the school’s co-curricular programs • Actively support the school’s Christian ethos demonstrated by way of positive, people-focused interactions
