<p>We are seeking a caring and passionate Junior School PE Teacher and Sport Coordinator to join our collaborative and supportive teaching staff at Horsham&#39;s leading independent school. With vibrant and well-resourced learning environments, we focus on providing student-centred learning opportunities where excellence is sought, innovation is encouraged, effort is applauded and relationships are valued. </p><p>You will be responsible for teaching Physical Education and coordinating the Sport Program for our Junior School students, ensuring you establish and maintain a positive, focused class where student learning, innovation and involvement is actively encouraged. </p><p>You will </p><p>• exhibit a willingness to evaluate the effectiveness of learning experiences </p><p>• participate and work in a supportive manner with all staff and act under the direction of the Principal and Head of Junior School </p><p>• be responsible for the implementation of school policy and procedures in all programs </p><p>• prepare thoroughly for day-to-day teaching and learning, including the documentation of daily plans and long term overviews </p><p>• keep up-to-date assessment and monitoring records </p><p>• be aware of the importance of student-centred learning. </p><p>Victorian Institute of Teachers registration (or the ability to get registration) is essential for this position. </p><p><br /></p>
