<p><b>Distance Education Teacher - Gold Coast</b></p> <div> <p>We are looking for a suitably qualified teacher with demonstrated experience in the Gold Coast area (other areas also are available) to join our team for 2019 with the willingness and ability to deliver distance education learning programs and family support to our students in F- 10. This is a  full-time position with a competitive remuneration package that will will be considered for the right applicant, and can include the exciting option for the successful applicant to work regularly from home following a training period which includes close guidance and support.</p> <p>This position will require the teacher to work closely alongside students and parent tutors in a way that supports their desires for high quality, home-based education in keeping with a Christian worldview. </p><p><b>Position Details:</b><br /></p> <p>The successful applicants will be able to provide evidence to demonstrate they are:</p> <p> </p> <ul><li> <p>qualified to work in Australia and are registered, or provisionally registered, to teach in Queensland;</p> </li><li> <p>able to utilise - or able to rapidly acquire - the technological and pedagogical  skill set needed to prepare and deliver engaging, interactive, online lessons on a regular basis;</p> </li><li> <p>willing and able to regularly support student and parent-tutors during the school week through home visits,  telephone and online support, and on occasions via excursions, camps and workshop intensives (as required);</p> </li><li> <p>willing and able to mark, assess, moderate and report on student work utilising existing guides, processes and formats, policies and procedures and/or in keeping with our QCAA-approved Senior Secondary work programs (if relevant);</p> </li><li> <p>willing and able to deliver course materials in keeping with the school’s Values and Philosophy statement and in keeping with a Christian worldview; and</p> </li><li> <p>fluent in English with good written and oral communication skills.</p><p>A Statement of Faith and supporting verbal reference from a pastor or minister will be requested as part of the application process.   If you would like to be a part of a growing Christian team, get out of the hustle and bustle of driving to your work place each day and would like to make a difference in the lives of our students then we encourage you to apply. <br /></p><p><br />Please email Jennifer&#64;faithcsde.com to submit your covering letter and resume. <br /><br />Further information about our school can be accessed from our www.faithcsde.com. <br /></p></li></ul> </div>
