<p><strong><em>Part Time </em></strong><strong><em>(H<strong><em>ours to be negotiated</em></strong>)</em></strong><strong><em> – 2019 Term 1 start</em></strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Applications are sought from suitably qualified, committed and enthusiastic persons for the position of Science Laboratory Assistant.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>CRITERIA FOR APPOINTMENT</strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <ul><li>A commitment to the ethos of the Catholic School;</li><li>Holds a current Ochre Card, Driver’s Licence (driving will be involved) &amp; at least a Cert III in Laboratory Practices is desirable</li><li>Ability to prepare chemical solutions to specified concentrations  and assemble sets of laboratory equipment;</li><li>Knowledge of WH&amp;S practices especially in relation to chemical handling and storage is desirable</li><li>Conversant with MS WORD and EXCEL, (knowledge of Risk Assess and Chemwatch software would be an advantage);</li><li>Able to maintain and develop SOPs and safety data sheets is desirable</li><li>Willing to undertake a diverse range of tasks to support the Science teaching staff;</li><li>Understands the particular character of a busy school environment;</li><li>Efficient and well–organised with a proven ability to work as part of a collaborative team;</li><li>Ability to work to task and independently as required.</li></ul> <p> Please send your application and resume to: <a href="mailto:mackillopcollege&#64;nt.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">mackillopcollege&#64;nt.catholic.edu.au</a></p><p><br /></p><p>       <br /></p>
