<p>If you are an energetic educator who is passionate about sustainability and loves teaching kids and meeting new people, this may be the opportunity for you.</p><p>Impact Environmental Education works in schools to educate students and their teachers about sustainability. We require a part-time mobile educator for delivery of our fun Sustainability Education program, available to all primary school students in Dubbo Regional Council, Mid-Western Regional Council and Narromine Shire Council. </p><p>Leave all the admin and marking behind and join us in education that impacts both our communities and environment. This is a temporary contract with the possibility of future work.</p><p>Please note: This job will require the successful candidate to stay overnight in Dubbo and/or Mudgee, depending on where the educator resides. Mid-week self contained accommodation included and travel and meal allowances apply.</p><p><b>Essential criteria</b><br /></p><p>Relevant degree or post graduate qualification in teaching </p><p>Sound knowledge of current environmental and sustainability issues </p><p>Demonstrated passion for the environment </p><p>Experience in educating and managing classes of infants and primary school children </p><p>Excellent rapport with students ages 5-12 </p><p>Proven engaging and enthusiastic presenter </p><p>Proficient user of interactive whiteboards, Smart notebook and Microsoft Office programs </p><p>Driver’s licence and own insured transport </p><p>Current Working with Children Check</p><p><b>Desirable criteria</b><br /></p><p>Experience delivering education in a mobile setting </p><p>Experience designing interactive workshop activities </p><p>Qualification in or experience delivering environmental education </p><p><br /></p>
