<p><b><i>Full-time position commencing Term 2, 2019 </i></b></p><p> We are seeking a caring and passionate VCE Maths Methods and Chemistry Teacher to join our collaborative and supportive teaching staff at Horsham&#39;s leading independent school. With vibrant and well-resourced learning environments, we focus on providing student-centred learning opportunities that encourage collaborative, creative, critical and curious thinkers. </p><p> You will be responsible for teaching Product, Design and Technology to our secondary students, ensuring you establish and maintain a positive, focused classroom where student learning, innovation and involvement is actively encouraged.</p><p><b>You will: </b></p><ul><li> have excellent knowledge of VCE Mathematics and Chemistry, with a willingness to evaluate the effectiveness of learning experiences </li><li>prepare thoroughly for day-to-day teaching and learning, including effective documented VCE study designs that include weekly plans and long term overviews </li><li>keep up-to-date assessment and monitoring records </li><li>be responsible for the implementation of school policy and procedures in all programs </li><li>be aware of the importance of student-centred learning </li><li>participate and work in a supportive manner with all staff and act under the direction of the Principal and Head of Senior School. </li></ul><p>Victorian Institute of Teachers registration (or the ability to get registration) is essential for this position.</p>
