<p><strong>35 hours per fortnight (negotiable)</strong></p> <p>St Patrick’s College Sutherland is seeking an experienced School ICT Support Officer to provide technical IT support to our school’s staff and students, commencing 5 August.<br /></p> <p>Reporting to the Business Manager, some of the role responsibilities will include:<br /></p> <ul><li>Respond to jobs to resolve network and systems issues;</li><li>Participate in the deployment of various ICT projects, driven by the school’s strategic plan;</li><li>Contribute in the assessment of the school&#39;s network and the production of reports/recommendations;</li><li>Audit and maintain the school’s entire network, systems and document work in electronic format;</li><li>Manage the repair process for student and staff devices;</li><li>Setting up AV equipment for assemblies and presentations. </li></ul> <p>Selection Criteria</p> <ul><li>Previous experience as IT Systems Integration Technician and server administration;</li><li>Maintenance Certificate or CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate);</li><li>Effective oral, written communication and interpersonal skills;</li><li>Experience in accurately identifying and classifying symptoms and possible causes of problems to ensure appropriate assignment to specialist areas;</li><li>Knowledge of both Mac &amp; Windows Operating Systems, Network Admin. / logging scripts / connectivity / Network security / auditing / scoping / asset management/ Document writing / high level technical reporting / Virtual LAN set-up and management / Wireless Networking / Hardware troubleshooting;</li><li>Knowledge of Core server applications, back up systems, redundancy systems installation and maintenance;</li><li>Proficiency across all aspects of OSI layers.</li></ul> <p>The usual provisions of registration and the Child Protection Act apply.</p> <p>A four (4) month probation period will apply.</p> <p>Applicants are asked to complete a letter of Application with supporting documentation.</p> <p>Applications can be emailed to <em>principal&#64;</em>.<br /></p> <p>You will be expected to provide the name and contact details of three referees, two of whom should be your current and immediate past employer.</p> <p>Please note that only those applicants who have been successful in the short-listing process will receive a reply.</p>
