Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking an experienced Teacher/Leader to take on this full time permanent teaching position, with a fixed term PAR, commencing 1 January 2020.

<p>Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking an experienced Teacher or Leader to take on this full time permanent teaching position, with a fixed term PAR; Teaching and Learning Co-ordinator - Middle Years (7-9), commencing 1 January 2020. </p><p>We welcome applications from individuals who are curious, courageous and Christ-led and have a genuine commitment to professional and personal growth and development. The Teaching and Learning Coordinator for Middle Years is responsible for supporting Middle Years Curriculum Leaders and teaching staff in the implementation of current pedagogical practices to promote contemporary teaching and learning. They will facilitate and embrace best practice in the implementation of the Australian Curriculum within the Middle Years and take carriage of standardised testing across the College. The successful applicant will be able to: </p><p>• Support the Christian Ethos of the College; </p><p>• Demonstrate strong Leadership; </p><p>• Demonstrate excellence in your area of teaching and learning; </p><p>• Facilitate and engage in delivering programs that promote stretch for middle years learners; </p><p>• Have a strong working knowledge in areas of pedagogy, curriculum, assessment and the use of ICT’s; </p><p>• Work cooperatively with teachers, parents and other members of the Redeemer community; </p><p>• Be an innovator and advocate for contemporary learning; </p><p>• Provide excellent pastoral care to students; </p><p>• Be registered to teach in Queensland. </p><p>Applications should include: </p><p>• a current curriculum vitae; </p><p>• contact details; </p><p>• a copy of professional qualifications; </p><p>• a copy of your current registration card from Queensland College of Teachers; </p><p>• Names and contact details of three (3) referees. </p><p>• 500-600 words maximum response per selection criteria (see below): </p><p>Your response should address the following criteria: </p><p>• SC.1 Philosophy of Middle Years Education in a contemporary learning environment; </p><p>• SC.2 Experience in developing and delivering innovative teaching and learning; </p><p>• SC.3 Capacity to use data to drive learner improvement, stretch and support; </p><p>• SC.4 Capacity to lead teaching teams, inspire innovation and transcend curriculum boundaries; </p><p>• SC.5 Willingness to support the Christian Ethos of the College. </p><p>Redeemer Lutheran College is committed to the wellbeing and safety of students in its care.
