<p><b>We are in search of teachers who are committed to: </b></p><p>Nurturing a faith community within a Catholic context. </p><p>The safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. </p><p>Providing students with a rich and rewarding Physical Education experience. </p><p> Delivering learning that is developmentally appropriate and promotes Physical Education in a contemporary context.  </p><p> Working collaboratively with staff to build a culture of fairness, empowerment and excellence. </p><p> Developing leadership capabilities and a willingness to contribute to professional learning. </p><p>Understanding the content of the Physical Education curriculum and create learning approaches that engage students, enhancing and enabling each child to learn. </p><p> Developing positive, meaningful and committed relationships with students, staff and the wider school community. </p><p>Using purposeful assessment that provides data to drive and plan further teaching </p><p>Providing structures that engage and empowers each student, in order to develop confident, independent and resilient learners. </p><p>Explicitly stating the purpose and intention of learning </p><p> Encouraging students to develop the skills to be self-responsible learners. </p><p> Accessing and embracing local and district Physical Education and sporting opportunities for our students.</p><p> Supporting the school community to develop and nurture a culture of welcome and inclusion.  </p><p> Work effectively with other professionals, parents/guardians and members of the broader community to provide effective learning for students. </p><p><b>Key Selection Criteria </b></p><p>Please elaborate on your experience and strengths in the following areas: </p><p>1) The successful applicant will: </p><p>have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education </p><p>have a demonstrated commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children</p><p> demonstrate successful approaches to student wellbeing in Physical Education. </p><p><br /></p><p>2) The successful applicant will:</p><p> possess the skills and abilities necessary to engage and empower students with a rich and rewarding  Physical Educational experience.</p><p>create, build and embrace a positive collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning of Physical Education. </p><p><br /></p><p>3) The successful candidate will: </p><p>be appropriately qualified and hold a current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration. </p><p>demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to deliver the appropriate  Physical Education curriculum to a range of educational abilities, using high impact teaching strategies, including feedback to enable and enhance student learning. </p><p>demonstrate the development of positive partnerships with parents and the wider community. <br /></p><p><br /></p><p>4) The successful applicants will:</p><p> have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a commitment to obtain accreditation.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
