<p>Good News Lutheran College a growing school located in fast growing Western suburbs of Melbourne is seeking to employ a full-time Learning Enrichment Coordinator commencing in 2020. </p><p> </p><p>The Learning Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for supporting an educational atmosphere where all students have the opportunity to achieve their best for intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual and psychological growth. They are responsible for leading the support and enrichment program for all students with additional needs that will result in all students achieving academic success in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act (2005) and policies and procedures at Good News Lutheran College. </p><p> </p><p>The Learning Enrichment Coordinator is an essential member of the College Curriculum Team. The role of the Learning Enrichment Coordinator is primarily to provide support for students with special needs, working through staff (both teaching staff and teaching aides) who are working with students with special needs. </p><p> </p><p>The skills and knowledge required to perform the duties of the position are as follows: </p><p>• Experience/knowledge with a range of learning disabilities and disorders. </p><p>• Experience/knowledge of a range of testing procedures. </p><p>• Knowledge of or ability to work with a range of para professionals, teachers and support staff. </p><p>• High levels of communication and emotional intelligence. </p><p>• Knowledge of Nationally Consistent Collection of Data procedures, implementation and moderation of data. </p><p>• Knowledge of/experience with the process of funding and other Verification as required by outside bodies for whom the College is accountable to. </p><p>• Experienced classroom practitioner with recent experience. </p><p> </p><p>The successful applicant must be willing to support the Christian ethos of the College. </p><p> </p><p>Visit www.goodnews.vic.edu.au for a position description and further details about the school and any enquiries about the position can be made to Charles Brass, Human Resources Manager on 8742 9027.
