Good Shepherd Lutheran College is an ELC to Year 12 school located in Darwin. The College has three separate Junior Schools all of which are involved in the implementation the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). <br /><br />Due to the promotion of the current PYP Coordinator to a senior position within the College, we are seeking applications for the position of PYP Coordinator at our Palmerston Campus. <br /><br />The Palmerston Campus is the original campus of the College (opening in 1998) and completed a successful evaluation of the PYP for the IBO in 2018. <br /><br />The PYP Coordinator assists in the development, coordination and monitoring of the IB PYP as well as supporting curriculum, assessment and reporting articulation across the College. The Coordinator should have proven teaching ability and be able to act as a pedagogical leader of the Primary Years Programme in the Junior School. The IB sees the responsibility for pedagogical leadership within the school as being a shared responsibility, to include the PYP Coordinator, Head of Junior School, Principal and members of the pedagogical leadership team. This team at Good Shepherd, comprises of the Principal, Deputy Principal, Middle Years Programme, Northern Territory Certificate of Education Training and PYP Coordinators, Heads of Schools and Head of Learning Enrichment.<br /><br />Applicants must be eligible for registration within the Northern Territory.
