St Paul Lutheran School seeks the services of a skilled and passionate Performing Arts teacher. Performing Arts at St Paul encompasses Music, Dance and Drama. The successful applicant must be currently registered as a teacher in South Australia or have the ability to gain registration.

<p>St Paul Lutheran School is seeking a talented, creative and vibrant Performing Arts teacher to join our staff for the 2020 school year. This position is offered as a 0.8 FTE (four days per week) one year contract, from Term 1 2020, with the possibility of continuing employment in 2021. The applicant must be willing to work within the mission, vision and values of St Paul Lutheran School, in particular sharing an understanding of the Lutheran ethos of the school.</p><p><b>Key Criteria:</b></p><p>The successful candidate will</p> <ul><li>Deliver an integrated curriculum in the areas of Music, Drama, and Dance.</li><li>Have previous experience in teaching and leading music programs.</li><li>Develop strong relationships with colleagues and demonstrate high level collaboration skills.</li><li>Oversee band and choir rehearsals, and any related performances, including during worship.</li><li>Manage concerts and other types of performance opportunities and events (Wakakirri, school concert etc.) for students to display their talents.</li><li>Employ pedagogical approaches to arts practices that reflect contemporary knowledge, understanding and skills.</li></ul><p>More information about the role can be found at <a href="" rel="nofollow"></a><a href="" rel="nofollow"></a> or by speaking to the Deputy Principal, Mr Jason Fay. </p><p>Applications must be submitted <b>via email only </b>to the Principal&#39;s Assistant, Mrs Natalie Broome<b>, </b><a href="mailto:nbroome&#64;" rel="nofollow">nbroome&#64;</a>, and addressed<b> </b>to The Principal, Mrs Leila Mattner.<br /></p><p>Applications close 5:00pm, Thursday September 12th</p><p>Interviews to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday September 17/18th<br /></p><p> Position to commence Term 1 2020 </p>
