<p>The primary objective for the position of the Education Officer - Identity &amp; Formation is to work with the Director - Identity &amp; Formation to provide support and care to the schools of the District with matters of Lutheran identity including LEQ’s five (5) essential practices of: spiritual formation of staff, teaching of Christian Studies, Service Learning, Pastoral and Restorative Practices, and school Chaplaincy. </p><p> </p><p>The role requires: </p><p>• An influential, contemporary leader of learning who is passionate about Lutheran education. </p><p>• A person who values, grows and advocates for deep collaborative cultures within and across schools within the system. </p><p>• Someone who can facilitate effective learning for adults, drawing on skills related to inclusivity, empathy, coaching and fostering agency among diverse learners and contexts. </p><p>• A person with knowledge, skills and experience in at least one of the LEQ essential practices. </p><p> </p><p>The Education Officer - Identity &amp; Formation is expected to act within the delegated authorities of the role, exercise judgment in a confidential manner, and exhibit strong communication skills, discernment, sensitivity and discretion in all business interactions. </p><p> </p><p><br /></p>
