The Executive Director, Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP), invites applications for the leadership position of Principal Leader.

<p dir="ltr">Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is seeking an innovative and transformative educational leader for the role of Principal Leader of St Monica's, Richmond.</p> <p dir="ltr">Those seeking to apply for this role will be a committed Catholic leader who will ensure that each student has access to world class learning and is able to make a meaningful contribution to their community.</p> <p dir="ltr">You will be able to articulate a vision for the school that will go beyond what we currently imagine a school can be. You will be a leader who will inspire others.</p> <p dir="ltr">You will work collaboratively with teachers, students and families to respond to the needs of learners in today’s world.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">You will focus on equipping students with core literacy and numeracy skills as well as building their personal capabilities.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Selection Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">A capacity to challenge and lead a school community that gives witness to the Catholic faith and its teaching, aligned with the system’s strategic intent&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Relevant qualifications and experience</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">An understanding of the importance of an evidence-based approach to improving learning</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">A deep understanding of contemporary learning theory and practice, and demonstrated application of that knowledge in leading school improvement</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrated success in building e?ective relationships and high-performing, collaborative teams&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Evidence of ongoing professional learning</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrated knowledge digital tools as enablers for contemporary learning and teaching</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">A capacity to engage and in?uence the educational agenda at a school and system level.</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Operating across greater western Sydney, Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment. It operates 80 schools, five Catholic Early Learning Centres, 25 Catholic Out of Schools Hours Care Centres and two Trade Training Centres. It has 43,000 students and around 5,000 staff.
