<p>Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking an experienced Sport Coordinator to take on this, non-teaching fixed term, full time (including Saturdays) position commencing 20 January 2020 and concluding 18 September 2020. The hours of work will vary depending on training schedules, carnivals, before and after school training demands and other events at the college. </p><p>We welcome applications from individuals who are curious, courageous and Christ-led and have a genuine commitment to professional and personal growth and development. In this exciting role, you will: </p><p>• Assist the Head of Sport and Head of HPE by providing administration and planning support to different sports across the college; </p><p>• Contribute in the development of the culture of sport; </p><p>• Be responsible (in consultation with the Head of Sport) for the development, promotion and review of specific sports; </p><p>• Coordinate a number of sports; </p><p>• Communicate with parents and students on a regular basis; </p><p>• Be involved in the organisation, planning and preparation of carnivals; </p><p>• Develop a season long training plan with clear goals and objectives in place; </p><p>• Perform coaching duties to a high level; </p><p>• Liaise with parent supporter groups. </p><p>Along with other duties as determined by the Head of Sport. </p><p>The successful applicant will </p><p>• Ideally have experience in administration; </p><p>• Have experience coaching Netball and/or Basketball; </p><p>• Be willing to actively support the Christian values and ethos of the College; </p><p>• Have or be willing to obtain current First Aid, CPR, and EPI-pen training qualifications. </p><p>Redeemer Lutheran College is committed to the wellbeing and safety of students in its care.
