<p>SPECIFIC CRITERIA </p><p>St Leo’s Catholic College is seeking to appoint an innovative and experienced Studies of Religion specialist with a passion for evangelisation and a commitment to excellence. A commitment to engaging in a suite of dynamic, spiritual, liturgical and retreat experiences is essential. The successful application: </p><ul><li>Be suitably qualified to teach Religious Education; </li><li>Be suitable qualified to teach Stage 4 and 5 Studies of Religion; </li><li>Be supportive of the Catholic Ethos of the College; </li><li>Be passionate about quality teaching; </li><li>Be an innovative and engaging classroom practitioner; </li><li>Be able to differentiate the curriculum to suit student needs; </li><li>Be able to be part of a collaborative professional learning team; </li><li>Be able to use technology effectively to develop students’ skills in digital technology; </li><li>Have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills; </li><li>Have a commitment to ongoing professional learning; </li><li>Be committed to supporting student well being. </li></ul><p> </p><p>Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4-year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.
