St Mary’s is a K-6 school within the diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes, situated in Hay, in southwestern NSW, on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River. Wilcannia-Forbes schools are centres of culture, learning and evangelisation within their parish communities where the Gospel is lived and the dignity of people is respected in the tradition of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Education Office, Diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes, is located in Forbes in Central West NSW. Our office works in partnership with and supports school principals and staff, parents and parish priests to provide quality education and authentic learning experiences to students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
