<p><b>ABOUT THE POSITION </b><br /></p><p>The Team Leader, Infrastructure and Operations will demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Catholic education and a capacity to realise that mission in the context of the Catholic Education Melbourne (CEM) Strategy Plan 2015–2019 which promotes strong, shared leadership and a culture of creativity and innovative practice.  <br /></p><p>Operating as a Team Leader of a multi-disciplinary team of staff, the successful candidate will be required to deliver reliable ICT services including desktop support, server management, network and firewall management, environment management, change management and infrastructure service support. The successful candidate will also contribute to the continuous improvement of ICT services provided, specifically:  <br /></p><ul><li>Manage the provision of effective support services for IT systems used by CEM, CECV and Victorian Catholic Schools <br /></li><li>Manage the services of external providers for the CEM and CECV Infrastructure, licensing and end user services </li><li>Maintain strong engagement with ITS business solutions teams, stakeholders, service providers and customers (Diocese officers and schools)</li></ul><p><b>TO BE SUCCESSFUL </b></p><ol><li>Tertiary qualification in computing or related field. </li><li>Minimum of three years’ experience leading multi-disciplinary IT teams of at least five 5 staff, ideally associated with networking, security, infrastructure and end-user services, leveraging the ITIL framework. </li><li>Minimum of eight years’ experience working in IT infrastructure related roles across a variety of areas. </li><li>Certification achieved in at least one key technology including, but not limited to; MCSE, CCNP, VCP, PCNSE. </li><li>Minimum of three years’ experience managing vendors and service delivery. </li><li>ITIL Foundation Certificate. </li><li>Experience in the education industry is highly desirable. </li></ol><p>The successful applicant will be subject to a Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check. </p><p>Applicants must also hold full unrestricted working rights for Australia to be considered for this role. </p><p><b>SELECTION CRITERIA<br /></b>Please refer to the position description provided for the Key Selection Criteria.</p><p><b>WHATS IN IT FOR YOU? </b></p><ul><li>Generous salary and conditions </li><li>Professional development opportunities </li><li>Work/Life balance </li><li>The opportunity for flexible working arrangements </li><li>Enhancing the education of more than 150,000 students. </li></ul><p><b>Applicants need to provide: </b></p><ul><li>a separate statement addressing the Key Selection Criteria </li><li>a cover letter </li><li>an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae </li><li>the contact details for two employment referees (referees will only be contacted with your consent). </li></ul><p>Applications can be uploaded via the ‘Apply’ tab on the Catholic Education Melbourne website.
