Canteen Manager – 6-month contract – 52 Hours/fortnight (to be reviewed in December 2020 for continuation into 2021 as a permanent position) An exciting opportunity exists for a professional and highly motivated individual to join our passionate and committed teaching team. St Jakobi serves the communities of the picturesque southern Barossa Valley with 150 enrolments from Foundation – Year 6. Our team strives to learn and grow together and leverage off each other’s unique gifts and talents so that we can best meet the needs of our students and their families. St Jakobi has entered a season of change, development and innovation as we aim to make learning fun, relevant and engaging for the students in our care. The St Jakobi Canteen is a well-resourced and modern facility that provides an integral service that is available to our families two-days per week. Additionally, included in this role, St Jakobi provides an opportunity for our students in middle primary to develop their gardening and cooking skills through ‘kitchen-garden’ lessons which are led by the canteen manager with the support of, and in consultation with classroom teachers.
