Trinity Lutheran College is a Kindergarten to Year 12 Christian co-educational college and an International Baccalaureate World School for the Primary Years Programme (PYP.) Located in Ashmore on Queensland’s beautiful Gold Coast, it also offers an on-site Early Learning Centre. We are seeking a Head of Campus Years 6 to 12 to join our Middle and Senior Years’ campus. The Head of Campus Years 6 to 12 is a member of the college’s Senior Executive and College Executive teams. We are seeking an experienced Christian educator with the vision, commitment and skills for effective leadership and management of our Middle and Senior Years campus in a manner which upholds and promotes its ethos and the educational objectives of the college.

<p><b>Overview of the position: </b></p><p>The Head of Campus is the key person in setting and advancing school culture, climate and effectiveness, academic success and tone, pastoral and behavioural tone and climate, and the appearance and appropriateness of campus facilities and resources.   </p><p>The successful candidate will have a record of success in organisational and educational leadership at a senior level with a strong understanding of the Queensland Curriculum &amp; Assessment Authority and Lutheran education and in achieving agreed goals in collaboration with others.  </p><p> <b>Selection criteria:   </b></p><p>• Be a practising Christian, able to provide leadership and supportive of the ethos of Trinity Lutheran College as a Lutheran school </p><p>• Demonstrated ability to improve the culture of the college through leadership and the implementation of best practice initiatives </p><p>• Hold a relevant post graduate degree in the field of education and leadership </p><p>• Leadership experience at a level of at least an executive or equivalent level, with demonstrated success in pastoral care and leadership curriculum design, development and evaluation; change management; problem solving and decision making; strategic planning and building a shared vision </p><p>• Possess a sound understanding of developmental theory and have a broad knowledge of major developments and issues at a state, national and international level in pastoral care, student well-being, relational management and student character and leadership development </p><p>• Proven open minded, innovative and creative individual with a focus on continuous improvement of the college </p><p>• Demonstrated leadership of others in a professional learning community </p><p>• An experienced educator with demonstrated success in promoting and modelling good teaching practice </p><p>• Very strong interpersonal and written/verbal skills with a demonstrated ability to lead others and effectively communicate sensitively and effectively when responding to parent inquiries, concerns and complaints </p><p>• Willingness to be involved in the extracurricular life of the college </p><p> </p><p>The application pack including the position description is available on the college website at <a href="http://www.tlc.qld.edu.au/our-school/employment" rel="nofollow">www.tlc.qld.edu.au/our-school/employment</a>   </p><p> Please email applications by the closing date to the Principal at <a href="mailto:principal&#64;tlc.qld.edu.au" rel="nofollow">principal&#64;tlc.qld.edu.au</a>   </p><p> <b>Applications close on 8.00am on Monday 6 July 2020.</b> </p><p> </p><p>Trinity Lutheran College is an equal opportunity employer </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><br /></p>
