Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) is a community of thirty-eight schools and colleges with 2,500 staff supporting over 16,000 students.

<p>Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) is a community of thirty-eight schools and colleges with 2,500 staff supporting over 16,000 students. &nbsp;</p> <p>CET seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced providers to inspire creative and courageous initiatives for raising aspirations for students, staff and communities and achieve excellence in learning and teaching animated by faith.</p> <p>This is a new initiative driven by CET to determine which interventions and experiences are most effective in improving the educational and wellbeing outcomes for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.&nbsp;</p> <p>This project will work in partnership with schools, Tasmanian Catholic Education Office leaders and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members in providing the following:</p> <ul> <li>Identification of optimal, evidence-based interventions and experiences proven to improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student outcomes</li> <li>Clear direction and educational framework for future Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander programming</li> <li>Assistance with planning and resource allocation</li> <li>Accountability for the responsible spending of Grant funds and deliverables outlined in each school’s annual plan for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education</li> </ul> <p>CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.&nbsp; Providers will require satisfactory registrations relevant to child safety and national police checks.</p> <p>We demonstrate our commitment to reconciliation by encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply.</p> <p>Further information can be obtained by clicking the Project Plan below.</p> <p><strong><a title="Project Plan" href="https://publicstorage.dc2.pageuppeople.com/952/ClientPublicFile/1e17fbd9-b9ec-483d-a24d-76e40bdfcf22.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Project Plan</a></strong></p> <p>For enquiries please contact People and Culture via humanresources@catholic.tas.edu.au.</p> <p><strong>EOI close:&nbsp; Wednesday 15 July 2020 at 5:00pm</strong></p>
