The Payroll function is critical to CEDWW. The Payroll Manager (currently responsible for a team of five Officers) ensures that the payroll process runs smoothly and is completed with a high level of accuracy. The Payroll Manager is responsible for the payroll team’s efficient interaction with the Finance and HR Services functions. The Payroll Manager provides specialist advice and support to CEDWW’s leadership group. Currently within the HR Services Function, CEDWW Payroll is a shared service that provides payroll services to all Diocesan Schools and Offices (approx 1800 employees and casual staff). The Payroll Manager plays an integral role in the success of our workforce and the achievement of our vision, mission and organisational objectives.

<p>To commence as soon as possible</p><p>This role is based in the CEDWW Office in Wagga Wagga NSW</p><p><b>Essential Requirements </b></p><ul><li>Experience running end to end payroll in a high volume environment. </li><li>Understanding of payroll compliance. </li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of Modern Awards and other state and industry legislation. </li><li>Knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, operations and legislation. </li><li>Experience leading a team </li><li>Advanced communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Advanced computer software skills, Word and Excel and other accounting / payroll packages. </li><li>Relevant industry standard qualification(s) or Diploma or Bachelor Degree </li><li>Current Drivers Licence. </li></ul><p><b>Desirable </b></p><ul><li>Experience in the Education sector </li><li>Experience working in a large multidisciplinary organisation </li></ul><p>The role description is attached.</p><p>This role will require the successful applicant to hold a current Working With Children Check and consent to a National Police Criminal History Check.<br /></p><p>For further information about this position, please contact Ms Virginia Pattison - HR Partner, People and Culture on 02 69370014 or via email at <a href="mailto:recruitement&#64;ww.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">recruitment&#64;ww.catholic.edu.au</a> <br /></p>
