Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic education for the following position to be based at our New Town office:

<p>As part of a restructure, CET has this new full-time, ongoing Infrastructure Engineer position. This role will be responsible to the Infrastructure Coordinator and are accountable for the effective delivery of quality ICT services in maintaining and improving the IT core systems and processes to provide exceptional services to all end users within CET. </p><p> </p><p>The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate: </p><p> </p><p>Solid technical background in providing enterprise IT infrastructure systems and services including virtualisation, datacentres, operating systems and networking. </p><p>Ability to follow specified policies, procedures and internal controls. </p><p>Effectiveness in providing a variety of ICT services and support to diverse users. </p><p>Time management and organisation abilities in an office environment. </p><p>Commitment to personal and team effectiveness. </p><p>The successful candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications or Certificate IV in ICT or equivalent and/or have experience in IT Infrastructure support / administration and a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a wider team environment. </p><p> </p><p>Salary will be in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018. </p><p> </p><p>Catholic Education Tasmania is committed to supporting the rights of children and young people and providing a safe and supportive environment for them.
