<p>A vacancy has emerged which provides a combined leadership and teaching position.</p><p>House Coordinator 0.2FTE, and PDHPE and/or Religious Education teacher 0.8FTE.</p><p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers for this temporary full-time position for Term 3, 17 August 2020 to Term 3, 6 August 2021.</p><p><b>Key Selection Criteria:</b></p><p>For the leadership role:</p><ul><li>A commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for young women in the Marist tradition</li><li>A desire to support the wellbeing needs of students</li><li>The ability to dynamically lead a House group and tutors</li><li>This leadership role attracts a 2-point remuneration with appropriate time allowance within the timetable.</li></ul><p>For the teaching role:</p><ul><li>PDHPE and/or Religious Education teaching qualifications.</li><li>A commitment to excellence in differentiated pedagogy and assessment</li><li>An understanding of and ability to effectively enhance student achievement and performance which is informed by evidence-based approaches and the skilled use of data</li><li>The ability to work and teach as part of a team</li><li>A willingness to be involved in the College’s co-curricular activities</li><li>A genuine desire to build professional relationships which promote a shared commitment and a sense of achievement.</li></ul><p>Applicants should register their interest by submitting a cover letter to the Principal, Dr Anne Ireland, an application addressing each of the selection criteria; a current resume , a completed<b><i> Employment Application Form for Teaching Staff</i></b> (found on the College website under Employment Opportunities) with certified copies of qualifications and a current Working with Children Check.</p><p>Teachers must be registered to teach with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS).
