San Clemente High School is seeking a full-time permanent Creative & Performing Arts Coordinator commencing in 2021. San Clemente is committed to continual improvement in all aspects of school life. Student wellbeing is seen as central to academic achievement and thus it has comprehensive pastoral care structures in place, along with a commitment to student centred learning. The Creative & Performing Arts Coordinator is a member of the College’s Leadership Team, which comprises the Principal, Assistant Principals and other Coordinators. As a member of this team, the Coordinator will offer support in the: • Day to day operation of the College; • Promotion of the Catholic ethos of the College; • Leader of learning within a contemporary, dynamic and engaging learning culture; • Implementation of relevant policies and procedures.

- A relevant understanding of the philosophy of Catholic Education; - Ability to teach in the relevant curriculum area/s; - High level knowledge of the relevant key learning area/s and a proven capacity to improve student learning; - A capacity and willingness to actively lead, manage and support staff within their Key Learning Areas. Effective classroom management and teaching skills which enable students with a diverse range of needs to achieve their full potential; - Ability to successfully implement and evaluate curriculum initiatives in accordance with curriculum and standards framework; - Demonstrated capacity to reflect critically upon professional practice and commitment to ongoing professional learning; - Commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of College activities as a member of the College Learning/Wellbeing Team; - Collaborative development and continual review of quality teaching and learning programs; - A capacity for, and ability to demonstrate, effective liaison and communication skills; - High level of interpersonal skills to develop positive relationships with students, school staff and the wider community. <br> <h3>Essential Criteria:</h3> <br> - Current NESA Accreditation and Paid Working With Children Check (WWCC); - Qualifications as a four year trained teacher; - Completion of Anaphylaxis training; - Willingness to Comply or Compliance with the CSO Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead 2018 and willingness to work towards the Current Accreditation at Category C – Accreditation for Leadership. <br> <h3>Desirable Criteria:</h3> <br> <br> <h3>Renumeration:</h3> <br> Salary is in accordance with New South Wales &amp; Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2017.
