<p>Marist College North Shore is seeking an enthusiastic, engaged and collaborative TAS teacher for our contemporary Catholic school in North Sydney. </p><p>This is a full time, contract position until the end of Term 1 2021, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. </p><p>Applicants must be able to teach one or more of the following subjects: Food Technology, Hospitality, Design &amp; Technology. </p><p><br /></p><p>The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher who demonstrates the following: </p><ul><li>Commitment to Catholic Education with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students </li><li>Ability to facilitate dynamic and collaborative learning experiences for all students </li><li>Exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of effective pedagogies to meet the needs of all students </li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff </li><li>Capability of empowering students to be independent and creative learners. </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment </li><li>Willingness to undertake continued professional development </li><li>Willingness to assist and lead students in extracurricular activities like performance and exhibitions </li><li>Experience teaching TAS Years 7-12 particularly, food technology and hospitality</li><li>Experience in cooeducation desirable, not essential</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Please forward a letter of application and resume to the Principal at <a href="mailto:northshore&#64;maristcollege.comm" rel="nofollow">northshore&#64;maristcollege.com</a></p><p>Applications should include the names of three referees who may be contacted as part of the short listing process.
