<p>Marist College North Shore is seeking an enthusiastic, engaged and collaborative TAS teacher for our contemporary Catholic school in North Sydney. </p><p>This is a full time, contract position until the end of Term 2 2021. </p><p>Applicants should be able to teach one or more of the following subjects: Design &amp; Technology, Industrial Technology Timber.</p><p>The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher who demonstrates the following: </p><ul><li>Commitment to Catholic Education with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students.</li><li>Ability to facilitate dynamic and collaborative learning experiences for all students.</li><li>Exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of effective pedagogies to meet the needs of all students.</li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff.</li><li>Capability of empowering students to be independent and creative learners. </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li><li>Willingness to undertake continued professional development.</li><li>Willingness to assist and lead students in extracurricular activities like performance and exhibitions.</li><li>Experience teaching TAS Years 7-12 particularly, Design and Technology or IT Timber.</li><li>Experience in cooeducation desirable, not essential.</li></ul>
