<p>St John’s Lutheran Primary School, Bundaberg, is a school of the Lutheran Church of Australia Queensland District (LCAQD) and is one of 26 schools and 62 early childhood services operating throughout Queensland and northern NSW. St John’s is the longest established Independent school in Bundaberg and serves in excess of 220 children. </p><p> </p><p>We are seeking applicants for teaching positions in 2021. </p><p> </p><p>    • <b>General Classroom Teachers </b></p><p> </p><p>The teacher at St John’s Lutheran Primary School supports the mission and ministry of the School as he/she competently teaches and pastorally cares for students. It is expected that applicants have an active faith and are able to demonstrate a high degree of competency and skill in teaching in a 21 Century classroom environment. The classroom teacher is responsible for functional areas, including, but not limited to: </p><p> </p><p>    • Actively support the school’s Christian ethos (in the Lutheran tradition) demonstrated by way of positive,                           people-focused interactions </p><p>    • Planning, teaching, assessing and reporting in accordance with the Australian Curriculum </p><p>    • High level pastoral care and support of students, colleagues and parents </p><p>    • Contribution to co-curricular programs </p><p>    • Please note the general classroom teaching positions will be initially offered as a 12-month contract with a possibility        of extension.
