<p>Marist College North Shore is seeking an enthusiastic, engaged and collaborative Music teacher for our contemporary Coeducational Catholic College 7-12 Campus in North Sydney. </p><p>This is a full time, permanent position to start in January 2021. </p><p>1 point coordinator role and 2 point time allocation.</p><p> </p><p>Applicants must be able to teach Stages 4 - 6 Music with the ability to teach RE or another subject advantageous. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher, who demonstrates the following: </b></p><ul><li>Commitment to Catholic Education with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students. </li><li>Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and experience teaching Music to Stage 6.</li><li>Ability to facilitate dynamic and collaborative learning experiences for all students.</li><li>At least 5 years teaching experience.</li><li>Exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of effective pedagogies to meet the needs of all students. </li><li>Commitment to exploring contemporary ways of engaging students in music and the performing arts. </li><li>Experience leading school musicals, school masses and events.</li><li>Ability to lead choir, orchestra and ensemble groups. </li><li>Ability to oversee the College&#39;s Peripatetic music program.</li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff. </li><li>Capability to empower students to be independent and creative learners. </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li></ul><p><br /></p>
