Senior Executive position reporting to the Chief Executive Officer of DOSCEL. The purpose of this role is to manage and lead Information and Infrastructure functions of DOSCEL and support strategic goals by ensuring governance, risk, information and infrastructure functions are operating effectively. <p>Catholic Education in the Diocese of Sale is a vital expression of the mission of the Church. The Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL) is a company limited by guarantee to manage and operate Catholic schools in the Diocese of Sale. </p><p>The Director of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Sale is seeking to appoint a Chief Information and Infrastructure Officer. The appointee will be responsible to the Director of Catholic Education. </p><p>This position shares the responsibility of all Catholic Education Office, Diocese of Sale (CEOSale) staff to support and promote, in word and in action, the Catholic identity of all schools and CEOSale. The purpose of this role is to manage and lead the Information and Infrastructure functions of DOSCEL and support strategic goals by ensuring governance, risk, information and infrastructure functions are operating effectively. </p><p>The Diocese covers 37 primary and 7 secondary schools from Cranbourne and Narre Warren in the west of the Diocese to Wonthaggi in the south and Orbost in the east. Through the partnership of schools with families, parishes, the CEOSale and religious institutes, our schools play a leading role in nurturing the faith of children and youth and developing their intellectual, physical, emotional and social knowledge, skills and attributes. </p><p>These schools are served by the Catholic Education Office which is located at 6 Witton Street, Warragul, approximately a 90-minute drive from the Melbourne CBD. The Office has a staff of approximately 80 who provide a wide range of leadership and support services to schools. </p><p><b>Key Selection Criteria: </b></p><p>The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate: </p><p>• A deep understanding of and commitment to Catholic Education as a mission of the Catholic Church in Australia. </p><p>• A commitment to and understanding of child protection and child safety issues in schools. </p><p>• An understanding of and capacity to work within the governance structure of Catholic education in the Diocese of Sale. </p><p>• Leadership experience in a complex organisational setting. </p><p>• Understanding of the role of Company Secretary in a not for profit organisation. </p><p>• Well-developed interpersonal skills including: </p><ul><li>Excellent communication and writing skills. </li><li>Capacity to lead and develop teams. </li></ul><p>• Ability to ensure effective compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements and to interpret and translate key information to stakeholders. </p><p><b>Qualifications and Experience: </b></p><p>• Tertiary qualifications in a related area. </p><p>• Post Graduate or Masters level qualifications in a related area would also be highly regarded. </p><p>• Current and extensive experience in the delivery of information technology services in a large and complex organisation. </p><p>• Experience in a senior management role and successfully managing multiple teams within the education sector would be an advantage. </p><p> <b>Salary and Benefits: </b></p><p>• Salary offered will be commensurate with this position. </p><p>• Four weeks’ Annual Leave is provided. </p><p>• Flexible Workplace, Working from Home and Salary Packaging arrangements are available to staff of CEOSale. </p><p>• A fully maintained vehicle is provided as part of this position. </p><p> <b>Tenure: </b></p><p>• Full-time and ongoing. </p><p>• Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. </p><p><b> Commencement Date:</b> 4 November 2020 or by negotiation. </p><p><b> Applications: </b></p><p>• A Position Description, Instructions for Applicants, Application Form, Confidential Referee Assessment Form and other  relevant information may be downloaded from the CEOSale website <a href="http://www.ceosale.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">www.ceosale.catholic.edu.au</a></p><p>• Three confidential referee assessments are required. <br /></p><p>• Please return the completed Application Form, together with your Letter of Application, response to key selection criteria and a copy of your Resume by Friday 25 September 2020. </p><p> <i>Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
