<p>Commencing January 2021, St John&#39;s Catholic College Darwin is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced teacher on a three year initial contract to the position of Pastoral Care and Wellbeing Coordinator. </p><p><br /></p><p>The successful applicant will be required to carry a teaching load within the College. Please view both position descriptions: Pastoral Care and Wellbeing Coordinator, and Classroom Teacher. </p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Pastoral Care and Wellbeing Coordinator - Essential Criteria:</b></p><p>• Current Northern Territory Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card). </p><p>• Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of the Northern Territory. </p><p>• Understanding of and the willingness to support and contribute to the Catholic ethos of the College. </p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Pastoral Care and Wellbeing Coordinator - Highly Desired Criteria:</b></p><p>• Accreditation C as acknowledged by Catholic Education NT. </p><p>• An understanding of the Australian Student Wellbeing Framework: https://studentwellbeinghub.edu.au/ </p><p>• Experienced in working within a culturally diverse environment. </p><p>• Engagement with professional learning that supports the development of Middle Leaders / Aspiring Leaders.</p><p> </p><p>• Capacity to competently carry out the duties and responsibilities as outlined in the position description.</p><p>- Qualifications / Licenses such as First Aid, Bus License and Bronze Medallion that support the implementation of College activities.</p><p><b>How To Apply:</b></p><p>St John&#39;s Catholic College is committed to a Child Safe school environment and has extensive recruitment and screening processes in place. </p><p>To apply, please submit a cover letter, a resume including three professional referees, and a response to the selection criteria, to the Principal at: admin.stjohns&#64;nt.catholic.edu.au.</p>
