Secondary French and English Teacher - Full time permanent position - Located at our Indooroopilly School - Primarily teaching in Junior High

We ask our students and employees to embrace our motto of ‘Plus Ultra’ and contribute to Challenging Minds | Nurturing Hearts | Building Futures. </p><p>We are seeking a French and English Teacher to teach our Junior High students at our Indooroopilly school, commencing 01 January 2021. This is a permanent full time position with a focus in the Junior High (7-9) years in the short to medium term, however this could extend to Senior (10-12) years in the future. </p><p><b>About you: </b></p><ul><li> You have demonstrated excellence in teaching French and English with a high degree of teaching competence in the secondary school </li><li>Knowledge of AIM Methodology or strong willingness to learn would be advantageous </li><li>You possess excellent interpersonal and are able to communicate sensitively and confidentially with parents, students and other staff </li><li>You are able to build and maintain quality relationships in all aspects of your work </li><li>You are able to select and use appropriately, a wide range of teaching strategies to suit the needs of a diverse range of students. </li><li>You are highly organised and take pride in the planning and preparation of your classes </li><li>You have a demonstrated understanding of current issues in education and can implement strategies to ensure optimal learning outcomes </li><li>You embrace opportunities to reflect upon your professional practice and further develop your own skills and knowledge across a variety of different areas </li><li>Working with multiple stakeholders and collaborating across teams is motivating.
