<p>St Michael&#39;s is a small, well resourced PYP school situated in beautiful Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills.  We are seeking a skilled PE teacher with experience in teaching and coordination of a school PE program, including inter school and SAPSASA representation.  With a large, purpose built gymnasium at their disposal, the successful applicant has all of the resources needed to provide our students with outstanding learning experiences in PE.</p><p>St Michael&#39;s has established a very successful preschool Kindergym program affiliated with Gymnastics SA.  The successful applicant will also be required to run this weekly program.  If necessary, additional training will be provided by the school.</p><p>St Michael&#39;s has a strong record of success in a wide range of inter school sporting competitions in the Adelaide Hills and seeks a teacher who is highly motivated, has a passion for children&#39;s sport and exhibits skill in teaching a variety of sports.</p><p>This position includes leadership responsibility for the overall coordination of the PE program at St Michael&#39;s which involves organising Sports Day, the swimming program, inter house competitions and all inter school events.  </p><p>The successful applicant will be self directed, highly skilled, organised, an excellent communicator and will demonstrate a passion for their subject.</p><p>The occasional additional work day will be supported where inter school events fall outside of the normal work hours of the PE Teacher and therefore the applicant&#39;s ability to be flexible will be looked upon favourably. </p><p>Further information about the role is contained in the role description or can be found by contacting the Principal, Terri Taylor on (08) 8388 7228</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
