St Andrew's Catholic College has an exciting opportunity for a Teacher with experience in teaching music - specifically woodwind to join the College Commencing 16 January 2021

<h4>Working for Catholic Education Services, Cairns </h4><p>The Catholic Education Community – Diocese of Cairns, is a partnership between Catholic Education Services and twenty-nine schools. There are nineteen primary schools, 2 Prep to Year 12 College, and six secondary Colleges. The 29th school is a Special Assistance School with campuses in Cairns and Cooktown, catering for disengaged young people in Years 7-12. Two new schools opened in 2016 in Weipa (P-6) and Mt Peter (P-12).</p><h4>Purpose of the Role:</h4><p>The successful candidate will join a vibrant and energetic Music Department. The staff are experienced and music is highly regarded by the College and extended community. The successful candidate will be experienced in teaching both classroom and instrumental music lessons. A specialism in woodwind (flute and saxophone) is mandatory and candidates should be proficient and able to teach ALL woodwind instrumental lessons. </p><p>The successful candidate will support St Andrew’s Catholic ethos.
