<p>St Patrick’s College is seeking to employ a Senior Psychologist to join Student Wellbeing Support Services (SWSS) providing a range of psychological services to students and the College community members. This role includes cognitive, mental health and behavioural assessment, brief or substantial counselling and therapeutic intervention, case management, consultation and collaboration with all stakeholders including external providers. Within this role is the potential to provide professional supervision. The focus of the role is to address the learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs of students using evidence-based interventions in a timely manner. It includes working with leadership in addressing identified needs of the whole school, cohort groups and contributing to the professional development of staff in areas of expertise. </p><p>As well as being strongly imbued with and supportive of the ethos of a Catholic college, the successful applicant will demonstrate initiative, curiosity, a strong work ethic and take pride in their work. Excellent time management and communication skills are essential, together with the ability to work effectively within a variety of school teams. </p><p>St Patrick’s is a Catholic co-educational Year 7-12 college of approximately 1,500 students with a strong academic culture that encourages individual students to develop to their full potential through a broad educational experience. </p><p>CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
