<p>Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) serves the mission of Jesus Christ by supporting parents in the integral formation and development of 16,000 students within a vibrant community of 2,500 staff across thirty-eight schools and colleges and the Tasmanian Catholic Education Office. </p>
<p>This critical new role provides an exciting opportunity to lead the development, establishment and implementation of a new approach to Initial Teacher Education within CET, specifically targeted to nurturing undergraduates towards their graduation as Teachers capable of authentically participating in the evangelising mission of Catholic education.</p>
<p>CET is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates who are able to lead, articulate and give positive witness to the Churches mission of Catholic education. </p>

<p><strong>Part Time (0.6 – 1.0 FTE) 5-Year contract </strong></p>
<p>This position reports to the Directors: Learning and Teaching and Catholic Identity and Evangelisation and is accountable for leadership in operations, collaboration and relationships to fulfil the Vision for the St Thomas Aquinas Teaching Schools.</p>
<p>Candidates will be required to demonstrate:</p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Promotion of the educational ministry of the Church in the Archdiocese of Hobart.</li>
<li>Extensive current knowledge and proven ability to lead evidence-based pedagogy, curriculum, and learning and teaching.</li>
<li>A successful history as a Catholic school Principal.</li>
<li>High level capability to plan and manage projects delivery for successful outcomes on time and in budget.</li>
<li>Exceptional leadership and relationship development that engenders collaboration and support for St Thomas Aquinas across CET.</li>
<li>Superior capabilities in interpersonal, planning, analytical and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders for the enrichment of Catholic education.</li>
</ul>
