Endeavour College is seeking to appoint a permanent part-time Workshop Technician to join our team. This part-time position will work 15 hours per weeks over 44 weeks of the year (0.36 FTE).

<div>The primary responsibility of this role is to provide pro-active practical and administrative support in the Design &amp; Technology (D&amp;T) workshop by maintaining and preparing tools, equipment and materials, assisting with learning area events, and performing activities that support the safe and effective operation of the D&amp;T learning area. </div><div><br /></div><div>Specific tasks include:</div><div><br /></div><ul><li>Maintain resources, tools, and equipment which support and enhance student learning, including routine machinery and equipment checks, in accordance with appropriate industry standards and operating procedures</li><li>Assist in the identification of damaged or inoperable equipment, and arrange for servicing by qualified technicians</li><li>Create ordering lists, order and receive materials (including materials for student designed projects), maintain an up-to-date record of materials, and maintain the order and tidiness of storage of supplies for use by the learning area in a timely manner</li><li>Assist in the preparation of workshop and materials for classes (i.e. cutting pieces of wood to size, preparing and set up of machines etc.), and general cleanliness of workshop</li><li>Assist in the identification of hazards, and the management of associated risks, including the implementation of appropriate controls within the D&amp;T learning area</li></ul><p>A full position description is also available on the College website.</p><p><b>All applications should be submitted through the employment page on Endeavour College&#39;s website (www.endeavour.sa.edu.au/jobs) using the online application form, addressed to Ms Heather Vogt, Principal and include:</b><br /></p><ul><li>Cover letter, clearly stating the position you are applying for </li><li>Resume</li><li>Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)</li><li>3 referees (preferably 2 professional incl current employer &amp; 1 pastoral)</li></ul><p><b>Applications close 9am Monday 7 December 2020</b></p><p>Endeavour College values staff who enthusiastically engage in their work as a Christian vocation that is based on caring relationships with students and staff.
