<p><b><i>SPECIFIC CRITERIA </i></b></p><p>St Leo’s Catholic College is seeking to appoint an energetic and highly skilled Science Teacher to teach Years 7 to 12.  Successful candidates will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic and cohesive team.</p><p>The successful applicant will: </p><ul><li>Be an innovative classroom practitioner, qualified to teach Stages 4, 5 &amp; 6 Science.<br /></li><li>An ability to teach Chemistry and/or Physics would be a distinct advantage.</li><li>Be supportive of the Catholic Ethos of the College.</li><li>Be passionate about quality teaching. </li><li>Be able to differentiate the curriculum to suit student needs.<br /></li><li>Be able to be part of a collaborative professional learning team. </li><li>Be able to use technology effectively to develop students’ skills in digital technology. </li><li>Have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Have a commitment to ongoing professional learning. </li><li>Be committed to supporting student wellbeing. </li></ul><p><i>Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.</i><br /></p><p><i>All applicants for teaching positions must complete a <a href="https://www.csodbb.catholic.edu.au/careers/how-apply/" rel="nofollow">Teacher Application Form</a> and include a letter addressing the essential/specific criteria for the position.
