Accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney is a distinct advantage.<br /></p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b><br /></p><ul><li>Demonstrable support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education</li><li>Registration, or eligibility for registration to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools</li><li>Demonstrable success as a classroom teacher in English across a range of courses and stages, particularly Stage 6. </li><li>Demonstrated experience in collecting and using a range of evidence to assess, evaluate and improve teaching and learning practices</li><li>Proven ability to implement high impact teaching strategies to improve literacy and learning outcomes for every student</li><li>Proven ability to integrate ICT into teaching and learning</li><li>Skilled and committed to working with students through a positive approach to behaviour management</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with others</li></ul><p><b>Desirable Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Practising Catholic with accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney</li><li>Demonstrated ability and willingness to lead and support a range of co-curricular events </li></ul>
