The directorate of Learning works in partnership with school leadership teams. The role of the Teaching Educator is to support school leadership teams and teachers to transform learning for all students.

<p dir="ltr">We are currently seeking a determined&nbsp;Teaching Educator - Literacy to be&nbsp;accountable for providing support to school leadership teams and teachers to transform learning for all students.</p> <p dir="ltr">The&nbsp;Teaching Educator - Literacy is accountable for:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Providing support to school leadership teams and teachers in the transformation of learning and teaching in schools.</li> <li dir="ltr">Developing, designing and delivering professional learning in-situ and system wide.</li> <li dir="ltr">Promoting and implementing Learning priorities and initiatives in line with system strategy and evidence-based learning programs.</li> <li dir="ltr">Applying specialist pedagogical and discipline knowledge in learning.</li> <li dir="ltr">Building teacher capabilities in contemporary learning and teaching practices.</li> </ul> <p>Typical experience and qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Tertiary qualifications in the relevant area of study</li> <li>Appropriate demonstrated experience</li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">The Organisation</p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CEDP’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.</p> <p dir="ltr">CEDP promotes the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
